Spanish language schools CLIC IH Seville, Cadiz, Malaga have won this years ST Star Spanish Language School award at the 2023 ST Star Awards.
Long standing IALC school CLIC and hosts of the 2019 IALC workshop were delighted to win the award. We spoke to Director & Founder of CLIC, Bernhard Roters.
What does it mean to you and your school to win this award?
Pierre de Coubertin said: The important thing in life is not victory but combat; it is not to have vanquished but to have fought well. After being nominated countless times year after year, what counts the most is being in the list of nominees. That said, winning for the first time is for my team and for myself a wonderful reward for our long-lasting work and cooperation with our agencies.
How does this award reflect on your relationships that you have with your agents?
The question should be asked to the agency. What is clear to me is that we owe this award to our agents and they are showing us that they value our services and our support.
How do you think being a member of IALC has impacted on your business over the years?
IALC is a rich source of knowledge and good practices. IALC is a group that unites high profile schools and professionals eager to share their knowledge and skills to ensure the quality of services and relationship with agencies.
Do you have anything new lined up for the coming year?
We are developing our young adults courses in all destinations, among other things. But mainly, our largest project this year is the refurbishment and revamping of our premises in Seville which will help us celebrate our 40th anniversary... more to come...
