IALC hosts and participates in international study travel events throughout the year!

IALC Bologna Workshop, 19-22 April 2018

The IALC 2018 Bologna Workshop brought representatives of 146 IALC schools to meet over 150 agencies from 40 countries as well as top industry service providers offering solutions in technology, accommodation, insurance, international payments, logistics and more for an unforgettable IALC experience in Italy.

The IALC 2018 Bologna Workshop was one of our biggest ever events and the vibrant and historic city of Bologna was a fantastic host to three days of networking, learning and first class IALC entertainment and hospitality. The IALC 2018 Bologna Workshop began on Thursday 19 April with a lively afternoon of tips, tricks and expert analysis from a range speakers sharing their digital marketing know-how for the IALC Study Travel Seminar Afternoon 2018 sponsored by Edvisor.

Our latest IALC Research Report 2018: Perfecting the student experience also launched to a packed room of schools, agents, service providers on Thursday and you can read more about our latest report here. The IALC Study Travel Seminar Afternoon 2018 was followed by the IALC 2018 Bologna Workshop Welcome Reception sponsored by our long-term partners at the beautiful Palazzo Isolani in the centre of Bologna.

On Friday 20 and Saturday 21 April there were over 4000 educator and agent appointments, plus many more informal meetings and was a fantastic opportunity for delegates to meet new partners and reconnect with existing ones, develop business skills and discover innovative solutions for the travel study industry. The evening of Friday 20 April brought the ALCE Bologna party at the breath-taking Palazzo Albergatti and the IALC Gala Dinner on Saturday night sponsored by was a spectacular affair at the magnificent Palazzo Re Enzo in the centre of the city.

IALC Japan Roadshow (JAOS), 29-30 January 2018

The IALC Japan Roadshow (JAOS) will be two days packed with excellent business, networking and learning, beginning with an IALC presentation to JAOS agents on our association, outlining how IALC schools can meet the needs of JAOS agents and students.

This will be followed by a presentation from JAOS on the current dynamics of the Japanese market, the IALC-JAOS scholarship award ceremony and dinner with JAOS agents.

IALC schools will then enjoy a full day of meetings with JAOS agents on 30 January. We look forward to having a large group of members participate in this special event.

IALC Turkey Roadshow 2017 (UED), 3-5 November 2017

The IALC Turkey Roadshow 2017 brought representatives of 15 schools to meet agencies in Istanbul from 3-5 November 2017 to enjoy a roadshow and the 5th annual UED awards ceremony and gala dinner.  

The workshops consisted of one-to-one meetings with representatives of high-quality IALC language schools from ten countries and five languages and in total over 30 Turkish agents attended the Roadshow. 

IALC Spain Roadshow 2017 (ASEPROCE), 26 October 2017

IALC schools were again invited in October to celebrate with ASEPROCE for their 30th Anniversary with a Roadshow and Gala Dinner.

The event saw 16 IALC schools attend the one-day workshop to meet with Spanish agencies from the city of Madrid at the Hotel Ilunion Pio XII.

IALC Russian Roadshow 2017, 15-16 May 2017

The IALC Russian Roadshow took 16 IALC schools to visit 51 agents in Moscow and St Petersburg and celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Liden & Denz.

Members enjoyed dinners with colleagues during the trip to share advice and experience, visited the Liden & Denz centres in Moscow and St Petersburg and celebrated the school’s 25th Anniversary with an incredible gala dinner in St Petersburg.
