In the aftermath of the devastating DANA storm that struck Valencia in 2024, IALC launched a dedicated fundraising campaign in support of local recovery efforts. The initiative focused on helping families most affected by the disaster, ensuring essential home repairs, safe living conditions, and psychological support to help rebuild lives and restore dignity.

Valencia is home to two of our valued member schools — Taronja School and Españolé International House Valencia — both of which played an active and heartfelt role in supporting their local communities. We are proud to have stood alongside them in this effort and are deeply grateful to all IALC members and partners who contributed generously to the cause.

Member Initiatives

  • Taronja School partnered with the Parish of Santiago Apóstol. The parish has been providing essential supplies, community outreach, and emotional care for those most impacted by the storm.
  • Españolé International House Valencia partnered with DNI Valencia,
a youth-led NGO. Their initiative, “Rehabilitate Valencia,” focused on long-term community recovery and youth engagement through volunteering and rehabilitation projects.

While the fundraising campaign has now closed, we remain committed to supporting social responsibility initiatives that align with IALC’s values.

Build partnerships with top language schools

The IALC 2025 Auckland Workshop was a truly rewarding experience. It provided us with the opportunity to network with high-quality language schools from around the world and gain valuable insights into the latest trends in international education. The event was exceptionally well-organized, and the one-on-one meetings allowed us to build strong relationships with potential partners.
