University of Limerick (UL) is a parkland campus spanning 138 hectares, situated right on the River Shannon and 4km from Limerick city. UL has often been called ‘Ireland’s Sporting Campus’, with its top class facilities with an array of artificial grass pitches, indoor and outdoor running tracks, as well as being the first University in Ireland to offer students an Olympic standard swimming pool and diving board, Ireland’s tallest climbing wall and Europe’s largest all weather sports field complex. Limerick City, located 2.5 hours from Dublin in the south-west of Ireland is an ancient city where the River Shannon meets the Wild Atlantic Way. The city has an interesting history, founded by the Vikings and is now Ireland’s third largest city.

Apollo Focus

9 hours’ optional extra tuition per week (instead of activities) completely free of charge. Apollo Focus is selected by the student as an option at the school on the first day.

Single en-suite room – full-board. Accommodation for Apollo students is located in single bedrooms with a private en-suite bathroom for each student. The residential accommodation chosen by Apollo on the campus is in modern apartments with 4-6 students sharing a comfortable apartment

Apollo Student App

Students will receive their login details for the Apollo App on their booking confirmation letter, where they will have access to their time-table, classroom number and weekly programme, to be used during the programme.

Apollo Web Portal for Parents

This web portal for parents includes more information including sample menu, activity descriptions & excursion fact files. The portal will be updated weekly with photos of the programme during the Summer.
