University of Limerick (UL) is a parkland campus spanning 138 hectares, situated right on the River Shannon and 4km from Limerick city.

UL has often been called ‘Ireland’s Sporting Campus’, with its top class facilities with an array of artificial grass pitches, indoor and outdoor running tracks, as well as being the first University in Ireland to offer students an Olympic standard swimming pool and diving board, Ireland’s tallest climbing wall and Europe’s largest all weather sports field complex.

Limerick City, located 2.5 hours from Dublin in the south-west of Ireland is an ancient city where the
River Shannon meets the Wild Atlantic Way.  The city has an interesting history, founded by the Vikings and is now Ireland’s third largest city.
