Programmes Offered
Multi-Activity Programme
The Multi-Activity Programme is ideal for students looking to improve their English in a fun, engaging environment. Lessons are complemented by a varied social and cultural programme, including excursions to famous attractions like Windsor, Buckingham Palace and The London Eye. Students take part in a wide range of activities such as sports and tournaments, drama, arts and crafts, dance, and Irish music. This programme is perfect for those who want to combine learning with social interaction and cultural discovery.
Intensive Course
The Intensive Course is designed for students who want to focus more deeply on their language development, particularly in speaking and conversational fluency. It offers additional classroom time and smaller group work to help students build confidence and accuracy in spoken English. Alongside lessons, students still benefit from a full schedule of enjoyable social and recreational activities.
Both programmes are taught by experienced teachers and take place in a supportive, international environment, helping students grow linguistically, socially, and personally.
Contact
Students stay in one of four on-campus boarding houses, including Markham and Knatchbull, in rooms for 2–4 students, with some larger rooms for up to 8. All rooms are comfortable and include lockable wardrobes for personal belongings. Each house features cosy common rooms with TVs and DVD players, creating a relaxed space to socialise and unwind. Access is secure via key code entry, and the environment is supervised and welcoming. Students receive full board, with packed lunches on full-day excursions and a weekly BBQ. Personal laundry is done weekly, and bed linens are changed every Sunday. St George’s offers excellent on-site sports and leisure facilities, including a swimming pool, sports hall, dance studios, tennis courts, and a cookery room.

St George’s Campus is located in the picturesque county of Berkshire, just 6 miles from historic Windsor Castle. The area combines rich tradition with peaceful countryside, offering a serene environment perfect for learning and relaxation.Surrounded by natural beauty such as Bracknell Forest, Virginia Water, and the River Thames, students can enjoy outdoor activities and explore scenic attractions like Ascot and Windsor Great Park.The area is known for its safety, green spaces, and excellent transport links, including a 15-minute walk to Ascot train station and quick access to central London.Students benefit from exclusive access to 30 acres of private greenspace, creating a secure and inspiring setting in one of the UK’s most prestigious school environments.
Exams
Students are at the heart of what we do. Emerald offers a supportive environment for students of all ages, ensuring they feel prepared and confident throughout their learning journey. Our experienced academic team offers guidance tailored to each student’s goals, including support for exam preparation where relevant. While our junior summer programmes are not exam-focused, students benefit from continuous assessment and feedback to track progress and build confidence in their English skills. To help students and parents prepare before arrival, we host a pre-arrival webinar covering key practical and logistical information. This session also allows families and partners to ask questions and better understand what to expect during the student’s stay.
