Just opposite the train station, the college’s ensuite accommodation at Christopher Court offers students easy access to central London—only 25 minutes to London Bridge by train. Discover London Course
Exclusive to our London Rose Bruford Summer School, this programme offers the perfect blend of learning and sightseeing. It includes English language classes paired with visits to iconic London landmarks, museums, art galleries, and shopping districts.
Junior Rose Bruford College Programme
The Junior Rose Bruford College programme is designed to give students the chance to explore the vibrant capital city. Additionally, students will enjoy one full-day excursion each week to exciting destinations outside of London, such as Brighton, Cambridge, and Windsor. All students will also have the opportunity to attend a West End theatre show.
Performing & Production Arts
This innovative course introduces students to a wide range of creative and technical disciplines essential to performance production. It includes acting, audio production, and design for performance (lighting, set, and costume), along with scenic arts. Students will gain hands-on experience in both the creative and productive aspects of delivering a live performance.

Residence
Accommodation is provided at Christopher Court, just a 10-minute walk from the college. Students are always escorted to and from the residence to ensure safety and ease of travel. The residence offers 168 beds in single and twin ensuite rooms, grouped in flatlets of 5–6 with shared kitchen space. Rooms are secured with key card access and include Wi-Fi. Single rooms have a double bed, while twin rooms include one double and one single bed. A 24-hour reception ensures continuous support, helping to maintain a safe and welcoming environment throughout each student’s stay.

Rose Bruford College is located in the peaceful suburb of Sidcup, within the scenic Lamorbey Park. The campus is surrounded by historic parkland dating back to the 16th century, with mature trees, open green spaces, and a pond teeming with fish and waterfowl.
The area offers a safe and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for study and recreation. It is easily accessible by public transport, with central London just a short train ride away—perfect for exploring the capital’s many attractions.
On or near campus, students enjoy excellent sport and recreation facilities. These include multi-purpose grounds for football and volleyball, an outdoor stage, and a 330-seat theatre-in-the-round. Through our partnership with Sidcup Leisure Centre, students also have exclusive access to a swimming pool, five-a-side football, basketball, and table tennis.
Exams
Students are at the heart of what we do. Emerald offers a supportive environment for students of all ages, ensuring they feel prepared and confident throughout their learning journey. Our experienced academic team offers guidance tailored to each student’s goals, including support for exam preparation where relevant. While our junior summer programmes are not exam-focused, students benefit from continuous assessment and feedback to track progress and build confidence in their English skills. To help students and parents prepare before arrival, we host a pre-arrival webinar covering key practical and logistical information. This session also allows families and partners to ask questions and better understand what to expect during the student’s stay.
