TU Dublin is a modern, city centre based university campus tailor built for learning and collaboration. The campus features, new and spacious buildings equipped with projectors and computers for technology driven learning. There are plenty of spaces for relaxation and recreation too on site, with several all weather sports pitches and large student common areas for activities such as karaoke and quizzes. Our accommodation is located immediately next to the campus, so students will never have to walk longer than 5 minutes to get to their lessons or to the canteen. As it is a city centre campus, students are in close proximity to all of Dublin’s attractions and sights. The TU Dublin campus is well-served by public transport, with busses and tram stops located right next to the campus.

Programmes Offered
Our English Language & Activity Residential Programme combines high-quality English tuition with an exciting schedule of sports, social activities and cultural visits.
Morning lessons focus on developing core language skills, with particular emphasis on speaking and listening. Vocabulary development and pronunciation practice are integrated into every session.
Teaching methodology includes:
• Role-plays and task-based learning
• Project work
• Use of AV technology
• Interactive communicative activities
Students complete an entry test on their first day to ensure appropriate class placement. At the end of the course, each student receives a certificate and detailed progress report.

CES TU Dublin is located in the Grangegorman neighbourhood of Dublin 7. Located just a 20 minute walk from the Temple Bar area of Dublin, Grangegorman offers a nice contrast from the hustle and bustle of central Dublin. The area is primarily residential, with many families calling the area home. Dublin 7 is also an incredibly safe part of the city. It is one of Dublin’s trendiest neighbourhoods, with lots of independent coffee shops and restaurants calling the area home.
Grangegorman is easily accessible too, given it’s central location (just 1.5km from the city centre). Either by foot, bus or tram, you are never more than 20 minutes away from the heart of Dublin and all of it’s attractions.

Learning continues beyond the classroom through a varied and dynamic social programme designed to immerse students in English while exploring their host city.
Each week typically includes:
• Orientation tour of the city
• One half-day cultural excursion
• One full-day weekend excursion
• On-site afternoon activities (sports, arts & crafts, team games)
• Evening residence activities (games night, barbecue, quizzes, karaoke)
• One international disco per week
• Museum visits and cultural experiences
• Traditional Irish music night (location dependent)
From sports afternoons to interactive excursions, students remain active, engaged and immersed in English throughout their stay.
