CES Leeds Junior Centre
A high-quality British summer school for juniors in central Leeds
CES Leeds Junior Summer School is for students aged 12-17 year-olds and is open to school groups and individuals. It runs from 15th June to 7th August 2026. The package includes 15 hours a tuition per week and daily social/cultural activities. The classes take place at the CES main school in June and at the University of Law in July which is in the city centre and walking distance from CES Leeds main school. Maximum number of students in a class is 16 in diverse multinational classes. Full-board Homestay and full-board residential accommodation options are available. Homestays are carefully selected and police-checked. The residence is at the small and safe Leeds Trinity University campus.

Programmes Offered
Full board homestay or residential accommodation with packed lunch is included. Your group will also enjoy a supervised sports and activity programme, full and half day excursions, one disco per week and 24/7 pastoral care.
General English for Teenagers
Lessons focus on developing core language skills, with particular emphasis given to speaking and listening. Vocabulary and pronunciation work are integrated into each session. Role-plays, AV technology, project work, and task-based activities will develop communicative skills. An entry level test will be held on the first school day and an end-of-course certificate and student report is provided. Full board homestay or residential accommodation with packed lunch is included. Your group will also enjoy a supervised sports and activity programme, full and half day excursions, one disco per week and 24/7 pastoral care.
Social Programmes
Students will get plenty of opportunities to improve their English outside the classroom, through our varied and diverse social programme. Our weekly social programmes in each location generally consist of: • Orientation tour of the city • One half-day tour to a place of cultural significance • 4 activities after class on the other days (e.g. sports, museums, cinema, laser quest) • One international disco • One full-day excursion (on weekends)

The Homestay Experience
Rooms: Single rooms or shared rooms (individuals and groups).
· Meals: Breakfast (includes fruit juice, cereal, toast, jam and fruit), packed lunch (sandwich, fruit, yoghurt, crisps and a drink) and dinner (meat, poultry or fish and fresh vegetables) included in the package.
· Travel: 30 minutes by public transportation.
· Laundry: ask host family about laundry and washing arrangements.
· Curfew times: 15 – 17 year-olds: 22:00. 12 – 14 year-olds: 21:00. All students to return home by 18:00 for dinner (unless school-scheduled evening event).
Residential Accommodation
Leeds Trinity University
· Available 13th July to 31st July 2026
· Room: Every bedroom is fully en-suite and has a single bed, fixed wardrobe, computer desk and chair, reading lamp and bookshelves. WiFi included.
· Safety: Boys and girls and ages separated.
· Travel: 30 minutes by private shuttle bus to and from Junior School
· Cleaning: rooms cleaned twice a week. Laundry facilities available.
· Meals: Breakfast (includes fruit juice, cereal, toast, jam and fruit), packed lunch (sandwich, fruit, yoghurt, crisps and a drink) and dinner (meat, poultry or fish and fresh vegetables) included in the package.
· Safety: Supervision onsite by CES staff.
· Social: 5 evening activities per week in addition to the standard junior program such as BBQ, movie night, karaoke and sports such as tennis, badminton, basketball.
