Junior English Courses in London for Teen Groups
CES London Junior Summer School is for students aged 12-17 year-olds and is only open to school groups. It starts from 13th July and runs until mid August 2026. The package includes 15 hours a tuition per week and daily social/cultural activities. The classes take place at Kings College School, Wimbledon Common in July and the main school, Nelson House in August. school. Maximum number of students in a class is 16 in diverse multinational classes. Half board homestay and full-board residential accommodation options are available. Homestays are carefully selected and DBS checked. The residence, Seething Wells, is part of Kingston University and is located in Surbiton by the River Thames.

Programmes Offered
General English for Teenagers
Lessons focus on developing core language skills, with particular emphasis given to speaking and listening. Vocabulary and pronunciation work are integrated into each session. Role-plays, AV technology, project work, and task-based activities will develop communicative skills. An entry level test will be held on the first school day and an end-of-course certificate and student report is provided. Half board homestay or residential accommodation with packed lunch is included. Your group will also enjoy a supervised sports and activity programme, full and half day excursions, one evening activity per week and 24/7 pastoral care.
Social Programmes
Students will get plenty of opportunities to improve their English outside the classroom, through our varied and diverse social programme. Our weekly social programmes in each location generally consist of: • Orientation tour of the city • One half-day tour to a place of cultural significance • 4 activities after class on the other days (e.g. sports, museums, art galleries, bowling, quiz) • One evening activity eg. BBQ party • One full-day excursion (on weekends)

Homestay – Total Language Immersion
Students experience authentic British life through carefully selected and inspected local host families.
Rooms: Shared rooms
Meals: Breakfast (fruit juice, cereal, toast, jam and fruit) and dinner (meat, poultry or fish with fresh vegetables) included.
Travel time: 30–45 minutes by public transport.
Laundry: Arranged directly with the host family.
Curfew:
• Ages 15–17: 22:00
• Ages 12–14: 21:00
All students return home for dinner after activities (unless attending a school-organised evening event).
Residential Accommodation – Seething Wells
Seething Wells is part of Kingston University and offers modern, comfortable accommodation in a supervised environment.
Rooms: Single, fully en-suite bedrooms with bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and shelving. WiFi included.
Meals: Breakfast, packed lunch (sandwich, fruit, yoghurt, crisps and a drink) and dinner (meat, poultry or fish with fresh vegetables) included.
Travel time: Approximately 25 minutes by private shuttle bus to Kings College School and Nelson House.
Laundry: On-site laundry facilities available.
Supervision & Safety: On-site supervision by CES staff; boys and girls accommodated separately and grouped by age.
Social areas: Communal kitchen areas available for supervised evening social time.

Cosmopolitan Wimbledon offers a vibrant mix of restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops and attractions, including the elegant Wimbledon Village and the Wimbledon Tennis Museum at the All England Club.
Students enjoy a varied programme of cultural visits to London’s museums, galleries and iconic landmarks, alongside fun social activities such as tennis, bowling, table tennis and BBQ evenings.
Regular day trips to other beautiful destinations across England provide the opportunity to experience more of the country beyond London.
