Nelson English Centre is pleased to introduce its new 50+ Programme, offering learners the opportunity to discover Nelson through a range of guided excursions and activities while developing their English language skills.
A Unique Blend of Learning and Adventure
Learners will start their day in a small, friendly English class (with a maximum of six participants). This ensures individual attention, encourages participation, and supports steady progress in language development alongside peers with similar interests and life experience.
Afternoons are dedicated to exploring Nelson and the surrounding region, with exciting activities such as Sailing, Kayaking, Golf, Hiking and E-Biking to Kaiteriteri. Students can also enjoy excursions to attractions like Brook Sanctuary, Cable Bay, the Nelson Classic Car Museum, Golden Bay, Melrose House, Nga Rua Caves, and many more.
These experiences allow students to engage with the local culture, explore the area’s natural beauty, and practise English in authentic, real-world contexts.
The 50+ Programme provides an ideal opportunity for mature learners to enhance their English skills while fully experiencing the unique character of Nelson and its vibrant community. Find out more here.
