Students are matched with friendly, carefully selected local families, most of whom live within walking or biking distance of the school. Each student has a private, fully furnished room with a study area. Meals include breakfast and dinner on weekdays, and three meals on weekends. Families are chosen based on their warmth and willingness to engage, helping students feel at home and practice English in daily conversations. The homestay coordinator ensures a good match between students and hosts, considering shared interests and preferences. More Features
We have a strict English Only rule where all students must use English whilst in the school premises. A $1 fine is issued to students who speak their first language and this money is donated to the local animal charity the SPCA. We offer free activities ever day after school and we have free tea, coffee, hot chocolate in our kitchen. We have plenty of microwaves to make your lunch and we make free rice every day at lunchtime.
