Timothy Blake is the Chairman of The London School of English which has been a member of IALC since 2003. Although he originally qualified as a lawyer, Timothy has been in English language teaching all his life, always with The London School of English, which he joined in 1970.
During his time with the school he has worked in every aspect of the business including teaching, finance, and sales and marketing, all of which laid the foundation for general management. These days he has no operational role in the company and has only strategic involvement, although as the owner of the company he naturally retains a keen interest in its activities.

It was in recognition of this work that he was made an Honorary Associate in 2018.
