Expanish Málaga is located in the historic center of the city, just one block from the Cathedral of Málaga and 15 minutes walking to the beach. The area is full of incredible restaurants, cafés and allows easy access on public transportation to the other parts of the city. Our school is housed over one floor of an historic building with a corner view of the plaza. Some details about our facilities: 6 fully-equipped, bright classrooms, student common area & kitchenette, AC and heating throughout, free Wi-Fi, student computers, and tablets with internet access, snacks and hot and cold beverages are available at the school, wheelchair accessible.

Programmes Offered

Expanish Málaga offers a wide variety of Spanish courses tailored to learners of all ages and levels. Core options include the Intensive 20 (20 group lessons per week) and Intensive 30 (20 group + 10 extra academic support and conversation lessons). These programs emphasize real-life communication, grammar, and fluency in a dynamic and immersive environment.

For students looking for individualized instruction, Combined Courses add 4 or 10 private lessons per week to the group classes, ideal for fast-tracked learning or focusing on specific goals.

The Spanish in Action and Spanish in the City modules are perfect for those wanting to learn through cultural experiences and real-world practice around Málaga.

Expanish Málaga also offers specialized programs such as Spanish for 50+, designed for mature learners seeking a culturally rich and relaxed experience with peers of similar age. This program blends language classes with local excursions and social activities tailored to the interests of older students.

DELE and SIELE Prep Courses: 10 hours per week of one-on-one prep courses for the DELE or SIELE language exams for all levels with experienced professors

Expanish Málaga offers three main accommodation options to suit different preferences. Students can choose a homestay experience with a local family, ideal for full immersion in Spanish culture and daily language practice.

Student residences provide a more independent environment with private bathrooms and shared common areas, perfect for making international friends. Shared apartments offer affordable living with other students, furnished spaces, Wi-Fi, and access to kitchen facilities, also individual studios.

All housing options are located in safe neighborhoods and well-connected by public transport, with an average commute time of 20–40 minutes to school.

Expanish offers a Spanish immersion experience in sunny Málaga, a beautiful Mediterranean city, located in the south of Spain, in the region of Andalusia.

Medium-sized, Málaga city is a perfect combination of culture, the sea, a lively atmosphere, food, cutting-edge neighborhoods such as Soho, areas like the port that have transformed and become more modern, and monuments with centuries of history.

The result is a city full of passion, with an endless amount of activities. All accommodation is within 10-15 minutes walking distance to our school in the historic center of the city, and 15 minutes away from the beach.

While Expanish Málaga is not an official exam center, the school provides full support for students preparing for DELE and SIELE Spanish exams. Tailored private lessons and academic advising are available for those pursuing official certifications.

Teachers help students identify exam goals, offer mock tests, and focus on key skills such as writing, speaking, and listening. Academic coordinators are always available to guide students in their learning journey.

Additionally, Expanish offers regular progress evaluations and personalized feedback to ensure each student is on track and confident in their improvement.

As a couple in our 50s we decided to work on our Spanish skills a bit more and booked two weeks intensive class at Expanish in Malaga. The school was absolutely well organized administratively, quick and precise to respond and very knowledgeable. The teaching staff was professional and very friendly and helpful. They used a wide array of books, computer and other digital tools to engage students at different levels of reading, writing, listening comprehension and a lot of speaking. I wish I had two months or longer to stay.

Really enjoyed my time at Expanish. The classes are very interactive & teachers are excellent at bringing students along at their own pace. I would recommend to anyone to join regardless of their level of Spanish.
