Programmes Offered

Expanish Madrid offers a wide variety of Spanish language programmes to suit students of all backgrounds and learning goals. Our courses run year-round with flexible start dates and durations, making them ideal for both short- and long-term learners.

Students can choose between 20, 24 or 30 group lessons per week, as well as combined programmes that mix group and private instruction. All courses are built around an immersive approach, combining General Spanish lessons with interactive components such as Spanish in Action (practical real-world communication skills) and Spanish in the City (teacher-led cultural outings to explore Madrid while practicing Spanish).

Our 30-lesson programme is the most comprehensive option, adding conversation and fluency-focused sessions for faster progress. We also offer exam preparation modules for DELE and SIELE certifications, and private lessons for tailored learning.

At Expanish Madrid, students can choose from a range of comfortable accommodation options designed to suit different lifestyles and budgets.

Our carefully selected homestays offer the chance to live with a local family, experience Spanish culture firsthand, and practise the language daily. Half-board is included, and private rooms are guaranteed.

Alternatively, students can opt for a shared apartment or student residence, both located in safe, well-connected neighbourhoods. These options include private rooms and shared or private bathrooms, with self-catering facilities.

All housing options are within 15–40 minutes of the school by public transport and offer a welcoming, social atmosphere.

I had a very lovely experience at Expanish! I was in town for a week on vacation to visit friends, and I thought it would be nice to take an intensive class in the mornings to practice conversation while my friends were working. I wasn’t sure if it would be all that helpful, but it was quite useful. The teacher, Teresa, truly focused on the things that were important at the C1/C2 level. Additionally, Teresa had a wonderful personality and seemed to truly enjoy what she does, and that made all the difference in the classroom.

Apart from a delightful experience in the classroom, the school itself is well-maintained and organized. I’ll be honest and say that I wasn’t expecting this at all. So, I was pleasantly surprised. Lastly, they offer cultural activities in the evenings (a certain number included with tuition), and that was a very nice touch if you’re from abroad. I didn’t participate in any as I lived in Madrid prior and had friends to visit with, but they seemed to be quality activities.

Whenever I go back to Madrid next year to visit friends and relax, I plan to take another intensive class for a week in the mornings to practice conversation. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I highly recommend Expanish! In fact, I recommended it to a co-worker last week, and she’s planning to take a class in the spring! ¡Muchísimas gracias a tod@s!
