Testimonials

I found Horizonte very impressive, and I had a great experience during my 14 weeks of study there. The school staff are very friendly and attentive to the needs of all students. My teacher was very friendly and attentive to the personal needs of each student to help them learn German more effectively. The learning atmosphere is wonderful, and the leisure programme is well organised and great fun. I would recommend Horizonte to anyone who wants to study German at an international level.

This is the best learning experience. I have learnt more than I expected! I have met so many great people from different countries. Horizonte makes everyone feel comfortable and at home. Every student is there for a reason and is treated with respect. There is no stress! My teacher is great!

Horizonte is a special place for me. I’ve got to know a lot of people. Everyone is very nice and friendly and Regensburg is a very nice city to live in. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn German.

Great experience! Forever grateful for the people I met and things I learnt. I will definitely return in the future. If you are thinking about studying and staying at Horizonte, I encourage you to do so! A great price, a beautiful city, wonderful teachers and a welcoming atmosphere. You will not regret it!

This school is fantastic and the people are very friendly and personable. It’s a great place to learn German and have fun at the same time. The teachers are really good. I will definitely come back! Thank you for everything!

The Horizonte language school is undoubtedly one of the best places in Germany to study German. The teachers are great, in this case they help us not only with the subjects in class, but also give us tips on all kinds of day-to-day matters. By studying German at Horizonte, you can progress quickly and have fun learning a different and very beautiful language.

I can characterise Horizonte with a word that is also considered typically German: quality work!

Vielen vielen Dank für alles! Thank you so much for your great support. When I first came to Horizonte, I really struggled with German because I didn’t understand every single words. But now I have become able to understand a little bit and really enjoy communicating with people in German. Also Regensburg was such a nice city, especially people were so kind and warm. I spent such a great time here. Thank you so much!

I had a wonderful two months at Horizonte School in Regensburg. The lessons were very enjoyable and thoroughly professional; the teachers and other staff were always interested in the students as individuals and ready to help them; the other students were very friendly, and the accommodation was very comfortable. The school is located in the historic centre of old Regensburg and I loved walking along the cobbled streets with their bars, restaurants and bakeries, as well as excellent bookshops. Even as an older student (early 60s) I found that I was able to get fully involved in the student life: the school laid on excursions (and weekly evening visits to pubs or beergardens) which helped everyone get to know each other and practise their German. I would absolutely recommend Horizonte to anyone who wants to improve their German in a lovely historic setting.
