Since 1986, Horizonte has been offering high-quality German courses for students and professionals aged 17+ in Regensburg, one of Germany’s most beautiful cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As a small school with a personal, friendly atmosphere, we welcome around 500 participants annually from over 50 countries. Our school features 8 spacious classrooms equipped with modern teaching technology. We offer standard and intensive courses (20–30 lessons/week), exam preparation and recognized exams (e.g., TELC, TestDaF), as well as specialized German for professionals from various fields and for teachers of German. Students benefit from small international groups (max. 12), highly qualified teachers, and a practical, communication-based approach. Our on-site residence with single and twin rooms—right next to the school—offers privacy and comfort in Regensburg’s charming historic centre.

At Horizonte, we offer a carefully structured range of German courses for learners aged 17+, tailored to different goals and backgrounds. Standard and Intensive Courses (20–30 lessons per week)
These are available at all levels and taught in small international groups—maximum 12 students, with an average of 8. This ensures plenty of individual attention and active participation. Lessons are led by highly qualified, experienced teachers who bring a passion for language and a commitment to every student’s progress. The teaching style is practical, engaging, and strongly communication-focused.

Exams
Horizonte offers specialized preparation for recognized German language exams, including TELC and TestDaF, which are essential for university admission or professional qualification in German-speaking countries.
