Expanish Expands Programmes and Welcomes New Director in Madrid

Expanish has announced several exciting updates for 2026, including the launch of a new Summer Camp in Madrid, the expansion of its 50+ Programme across all destinations, and the appointment of a new Director in Madrid.

Building on the success of its established camps in Barcelona and Málaga, Expanish will now offer Summer Camps in Madrid as well. The popular Young Adults Programme, previously exclusive to Barcelona, will also be available in both Málaga and Madrid, offering even more flexibility and choice for students aged 16–20.

After the outstanding reception of its 50+ Programme in 2025, Expanish is expanding the initiative to all Expanish destinations in 2026, with two annual intakes. Full programme details are available here.

In addition to these exciting programme developments, Expanish is delighted to welcome Javier Martínez de Velasco as the new Director of Expanish Madrid. With over two decades of experience in study abroad leadership and a Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies and International Theater, Javier brings both deep expertise and a passion for intercultural learning. Visitors to Madrid are warmly invited to stop by the school, meet Javier, and perhaps chat about his favorite plays or travel adventures.

The school group has also launched a brand-new Summer Camps page on its Partner Portal, featuring downloadable reels and marketing materials designed to help partners promote Expanish’s growing range of junior programmes.
