English Outdoors has launched its newest package for 50+ students: ‘English in the city – The best of NYC’, which will run in September.
English Outdoors said that this new 50+ programme is the perfect blend of English practice, sightseeing and socializing with other international participants.

- Focus on fluency to gain confidence and speak English more confidently
- Activity programme geared towards the 50+ audience
- A mix of famous spots and hidden gems to see the best of NYC
- Exploration of the city and social outings
- Possibility to book homestay accommodation in carefully selected local host families
Stephanie Bon, Sales and Marketing Manager at English Outdoors, said: “The EO concept lends itself perfectly to short thematic courses, as it allows learners to make the most of a brief stay in the city by removing all the time spent in a classroom, and replacing it with excursions and discovery of the city.
English Outdoors’ programmes are designed to push students to use English in real-life situations throughout their course. Classes take place at iconic spots across the city such as urban parks, indoor markets, curated markets and historic sites, where students are immersed in the language and given plenty of practice opportunities.”
