Learn Italian in Siena, Italy with Dante Alighieri Siena
Founded in 1979, Dante Alighieri Siena has been offering the opportunity to fully immerse in the Italian language and culture in one of the most fascinating Italian cities of art, boasting an enviable standard of living. With its cozy, warm, and welcoming atmosphere, Siena is sure to win over the hearts of all students. Our dedicated staff and faculty will welcome you in our large and centrally located historical building, taking close care of every need and ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment.
We caught up with School Owner Luca Bonomi to ask him about his school, Siena and joining IALC!
What’s special about Siena?
Siena is special because it blends two contrasting aspects seamlessly. On the one hand, it’s a bustling city with an international vibe, thanks to its 750-year-old university and its status as a major Italian art destination attracting millions of visitors. On the other hand, it retains a small-scale and cosy feel, resembling a close-knit family due to its size and friendly atmosphere.
What are your most popular courses?
Our most sought-after courses include the Standard Course, Combined courses (offering either 4 or 8 private lessons in addition to the standard group course), the Language & Cooking program, and the Alma Siena 50+ program.
Why did you decide to join IALC and how do you feel about it?
We’ve rejoined IALC for two compelling reasons. Firstly, it’s a recognition of our team’s hard work in ensuring students receive the highest standards of teaching and assistance. Secondly, it’s a strategic decision to foster growth as a school and as a team, availing opportunities for debate and improvement offered by the IALC membership.
What is special about Dante Alighieri Siena?
Students feel at home at our school because they know our staff is always in their corner. The informal atmosphere they experience helps them feel confident in entrusting us with any issues they may encounter during their stay.
