CES Launch New UK High School Immersion Programme in Worthing

Centre of English Studies (CES) has launched a new UK high school immersion programme in Worthing, in partnership with Our Lady of Sion School. The programme offers international student groups a fully supported language immersion and school integration experience in this popular seaside town.

Students begin with one to two weeks of English language preparation at the CES Worthing centre, followed by a one or two-week immersion at Our Lady of Sion School, an independent day school located just five minutes away.

The CES English programme is designed to build students’ confidence, enabling them to communicate effectively, collaborate with classmates and actively participate in lessons during their time at Sion School. The course also focuses on developing the language and communication skills needed to make friends, understand classroom expectations and engage confidently with school culture.

Michael Quinn , UK Director of CES said: “CES are delighted to introduce our new school immersion programme in Worthing. CES will be working closely with Our Lady of Sion School located 5 minutes’ walk from our adult school. Groups are able to come to CES first for a minimum of a 1 week programme and then start their immersion programme in Sion for a maximum of 2 weeks. We are really seeing a real growth in this market for students aged 11-17 years of age.”

Centre of English Studies operates English language programmes for adults and juniors in Ireland, the UK and Canada.
