CLIDA recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, commemorating three decades of excellence in teaching Italian language and culture to students from around the globe. Opened in April 1994 by Giulia Savona, the school has built a strong reputation for its high-quality education and welcoming environment since the first students attended courses at the Piazza Bologna premises.

The anniversary celebrations included a variety of events and activities showcasing the school’s achievements and contributions to international education. Among the highlights were special lectures, cultural events, and social gatherings. Notable events included two baroque concerts titled “Ad Vesperas” held at Sant’Anselmo all’Aventino and Santa Maria dell’Anima, as well as an “Interpretatio Dantis” performance at the basilica of Sant’Agnese fuori le Mura. This unique performance, based on the Divine Comedy, featured organ and choral commentary by the Insieme Vocale Elastico chamber ensemble from Friuli, directed by Fabrizio Fucile. The audience included students, alumni, teachers, friends, and collaborators of CLIDA, who celebrated both the past and future of the institution.
These events provided a wonderful opportunity for past and present students, staff, and supporters to come together and celebrate the rich history and success of the school.
