Programmes Offered
General English
The General English course is offered at 5 levels, from A2 (Elementary) to C2 (Advanced). TLA guarantees all 5 levels, year-round regardless of the number of students in a class. The course develops speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with a strong focus on verbal communication.
TOEFL
TLA is an official iBT TOEFL Test Center. The 4-week TOEFL Preparation course allows students to take the test at the school after completion.
TOEIC
TLA is an official TOEIC Test Center. The 4-week TOEIC Preparation course also allows students to take the test onsite at the end.
Cambridge
TLA offers a 4-week preparation courses for the CAE and the CPE. TLA is an official Cambridge computer-based exam center.

Fort Lauderdale is located on Florida’s Gold Coast, one hour North of Miam. The City is known as “The Venice of the America” due to its 300 miles of waterways and canals and is the yachting capital of the United States.
Fort Lauderdale is an exciting and dynamic American metropolitan area where English is the first language of 80% of the population, well above the national average. A very affluent city, Fort Lauderdale enjoys an extremely low 3% unemployment rate and has a diversified economy which includes banking, finance, tourism, hospitality management, pharmaceutical and aerospace industry.
Fort Lauderdale’s arts and entertainment district, otherwise known as the Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District, runs along Las Olas Boulevard, in the heart of downtown. The district is home to The Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the Museum of Science and the IMAX Theater. Las Olas Boulevard which is a popular thoroughfare in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Fort Lauderdale is home to the world’s largest Outlet Shopping Mall, Sawgrass Mills Mall. While studying in Fort Lauderdale students may visit Florida’s main attractions including the National Park of the Everglades, the Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral, the ORLANDO amusement parks (Disney world, Universal studios, Islands of adventure Harry Potter world), Key West and Miami. They may also take daily cruises to the Bahamas.
Exams
We offer TOEFL preparation course. Students may take the exam at a local ETS test center, at the end of their preparation course. We offer TOEIC test preparation courses. TLA offers preparation courses (4 weeks) for the CAE (C1) and the CPE (C2). TLA is an official Cambridge iBT and paper-based exam center. Students may sit for the exam at the school, at the end of their preparation course. TLA offers preparation courses for the Cambridge Business English Certificate. Students may sit for the exam at the end of the course.
