International House Bangkok has been operating in Thailand since 1999, offering both Everyday Thai and Business Thai courses for non-Thai speakers, alongside English programmes for international students.
Courses are available from 1 week up to a full year, welcoming students from all over the world.
In 2026, IH Bangkok expanded its premises to 24 classrooms, located in the heart of the Sukhumvit area — with shopping centres, metro and skytrain connections, and vibrant night markets all just a short walk away.
At IH Bangkok, learning goes beyond the classroom. With social activities four days a week, students have the opportunity to practise Thai in real-life settings and immerse themselves in the local culture.

Programmes Offered
Non-Thai speakers aged 16 and above are welcome to join Everyday Thai or specialised Thai courses, starting from complete beginner level.
Learning Thai opens up new opportunities to explore not only Thailand but the wider Southeast Asia region — and at IH Bangkok, learning continues beyond the classroom through a varied social programme, designed to bring the language to life in real-world settings.
Students can study for up to three months on a tourist visa. For longer stays, we are happy to assist with visa applications as well as additional services such as accommodation.

IH Bangkok offers two main accommodation options across a range of price points: serviced apartments and a 4-star hotel, all providing essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, gym access, a swimming pool, laundry, and cleaning services.
VP Tower and Mona Suite are serviced apartments conveniently accessible by skytrain. The journey to the school takes approximately 25 minutes from VP Tower and 10 minutes from Mona Suite. Both offer studio-style rooms with an ensuite bathroom and a small pantry area.
FuramaXclusive Asoke, a 4-star hotel, is the closest option — just a 10-minute walk from the school, and also easily accessible by metro. It is ideally located behind Terminal 21 Asoke, one of Bangkok’s most popular shopping centres, with everything students may need within easy reach.

IH Bangkok is located on the 9th floor of the Trendy Building in Sukhumvit 13, right in the heart of the city.
The school is within easy reach of key transport links:
• 5 minutes’ walk from BTS Nana Station
• 10 minutes’ walk from BTS Asok Station
• 10 minutes’ walk from Sukhumvit MRT station
It is also just a 10-minute walk from Terminal 21 and only two BTS stops from EmDistrict, two of Bangkok’s most popular shopping areas.
The surrounding neighbourhood offers everything students might need. Just across the road, in Sukhumvit 12, you’ll find Korean Town and a lively night market, alongside supermarkets, gyms, and a wide variety of local and international restaurants open from early morning until late at night.
The Asok area is one of the most international parts of Bangkok, making it especially welcoming for foreign students. Combined with Thailand’s well-known hospitality, students quickly feel at home both in and outside the classroom.
