Italian language specialist Linguaviva will offer Italian language courses in Siracusa, Sicily, from May 2005. The new centre complements the Linguaviva Italian programmes in Florence, Milan and Lignano.
Siracusa is considered one of the most beautiful Mediterranean cities, rich in history and art and expressing the variety and cultural richness of the island of Sicily. The school is located on the small island of Ortigia, which forms the old city centre and heart of Siracusa. The building, centuries old and completely renovated, is located 100 metres from the clear waters of the Mediterranean sea.
The new Linguaviva school will be open from May to October and will offer intensive Italian language courses combined with cultural courses, such as painting, photography, art history, archaeology, ceramics, cooking and studio art.
