Summer Courses for Juniors in London
English Study Camps is part of Wimbledon School of English and offers the same care and attention to quality.
Our London Wimbledon Juniors programme offers students aged 14–17 the opportunity to study English in one of London’s safest and most vibrant districts. The course is held in excellent facilities just minutes from the main Wimbledon School of English campus. With a centre capacity of 100 and a maximum class size of 16, students receive personalised attention in a supportive environment. The programme combines English language study with engaging topics and includes visits to central London on most afternoons, allowing students to experience the city’s iconic landmarks and culture. Optional academies, such as the Wimbledon Tennis Academy, provide additional enrichment opportunities. Homestay accommodation is available, offering a comfortable and immersive living experience within 25 minutes of the school.

At the London Wimbledon Juniors centre, students aged 14–17 join a dynamic English language programme designed to boost confidence and communication skills.

Plus Course
In addition to their core programme, students choose one Plus Course to personalise their learning experience. These include: Film Making Drama & Movement London Explorer Presentations & Public Speaking These courses allow students to apply their language skills creatively while developing confidence, teamwork, and real-world communication abilities.
Optional Academy
For those interested in sport, the Wimbledon Tennis Academy is available as an Optional Academy, offering specialist tennis coaching led by qualified instructors. It’s an excellent way to stay active while enjoying professional training. The programme is complemented by daily cultural excursions into Central London, providing students with the chance to explore iconic sights and practise English in authentic settings—all within a safe, supportive international environment.

Students at the London Wimbledon Juniors programme can choose between staying with a local homestay or in our supervised Surbiton Halls residence. Both provide a safe, supportive environment where students feel comfortable and engaged.
Homestay
Homestays are carefully selected and managed by Wimbledon School of English. Hosts provide full-board accommodation, with most homes located within 25 minutes of the school. This option offers a true cultural experience and the chance to practise English daily.
Residence/Shared Apartments
Surbiton Halls is a modern riverside residence with single en-suite rooms in shared flats. It includes full board and on-site WSE staff supervision. Travel time to school is approximately 30 minutes.

The school is just a few minutes’ walk from Wimbledon station, with direct trains to Central London in under 20 minutes—making it easy to explore the city’s famous landmarks, museums and theatres.
