Located in the heart of Rome, DILIT International House has been welcoming students from around the world since 1974. The school has 18 modern classrooms, a cafeteria, student lounge, two terraces, and a little garden. DILIT is one of the first Italian language schools recognized by the Ministry of Education, and is a member of IH World Organization, IALC, ASILS, and AISLI. It is as well an exam centre for CILS and CELI. Dilit is also renowned in Italy and abroad for its Teacher Training Department and for its published teaching materials. DILIT offers high-quality Italian language courses taught by experienced, native-speaking teachers using innovative, communicative methods. Programmes Offered
DILIT offers a wide variety of group and individual courses. Among the group courses, which have a maximum of 14 students, the most popular are the intensive courses (15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week), lasting from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 50 weeks. Individual courses can be either intensive or non-intensive, with personalized programs designed to support Italian language learning for both general purposes and specialized professional fields. Additionally, DILIT has extensive experience in organizing special programs and courses for student groups from various European schools. Beyond general language courses, DILIT offers a rich selection of art and culture courses, as well as Teacher Training courses.

Exams
At DILIT, students have the opportunity to prepare for and take internationally recognized Italian language exams, such as the CILS (Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera Università di Siena) and CELI (Certificato di Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana Università di Perugia). These certifications are widely accepted for work, study, and immigration purposes. We offer dedicated preparation courses designed to familiarize students with the format, content, and strategies required for success in these exams. Our experienced instructors provide targeted practice and personalized feedback. Additionally, students can benefit from one-to-one tutoring sessions for extra support, whether for exam preparation or to reinforce specific language skills.
