There is something for everyone in this busy town, with no end of places to explore.
If you are into history, then a trip to visit the birth place of the Titanic is a must. This unsinkable luxury ocean liner which famously hit an iceberg and sank off the coast of the America in 1912 was built and launched from Belfast. There is a fascinating museum which documents its history.
Belfast is a mix of the old and new. Beautiful Victorian buildings, such as St George's Market, the Queen's Arcade and the Grand Opera house are scattered across this vibrant town. And let's not forget the myriad of traditional and very friendly Irish pubs, the perfect place to practice your English conversation!
But Belfast has a thorroughly young and modern feel to it. There is shopping and eating available to cater for all budgets.

Surrounding Belfast is some truly beautiful scenery, nature lovers will not be disappointed! And if you want to see something unique, then look no further than the Giant's Causeway. This strange geographical phenomenon is only 1.5 hours' drive away and is a must see if you are in Northen Ireland. The Giant's Causeway consists of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns and is the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption.
