Accommodation options in Lisbon include the school’s popular self-catering shared apartments, a partner premium student residence and homestay. Most of the accommodation options are walking distance to the school, or a short bus/metro ride away.
Shared Apartment
CIAL’s apartments are exclusively for our students, with single or shared rooms and comfortable common areas, WCs and kitchen. Linen change and weekly cleaning included.
Residence
The premium residence offers fully equipped studios, gym and swimming pool.
Homestay
In the homestay students live with a local host, in single rooms, with shared WC and common areas. Breakfast is included.

Located in the lively Avenidas Novas/Saldanha neighborhood, a cosmopolitan quarter, just a short bus/subway ride from the historical centre, CIAL takes 2 floors of a classified art déco building.
The area (as the city) is safe and well served by public transportation, walking distance to parks (Gulbenkian, Eduardo VII), cafés, restaurants, shops and concert halls (Campo Pequeno). Across the street, Mercado 31 de Janeiro offers a unique shopping experience of fresh ingredients, fruits and vegetables.
Lisbon’s famous beaches are 30/40 minutes away. In CIAL, students of all ages and countries of origin feel welcome, learning in small groups supported by friendly staff.
Exams
Preparation for the official CAPLE exams available. This preparation is done in individual lessons, with real life exam papers so students get familiar with the exam structure and timings. Preparation can be done in combination with General Portuguese group courses.
