Quality Language Schools Worldwide

The English Language Centre in Brighton has re-branded its two language schools in the UK to provide greater clarity about their relationship. Eastbourne School of English and The English Language Centre in Brighton have been run by the same educational charity since 2010.

Since the merger, they have worked more and more closely. "We feel the time is now right to move to one common brand with one logo and one brochure," says Phil Hopkins, Chief Executive of ELC. "We also felt that it was a great opportunity to harmonise and modernise the brand of the two schools that have a combined experience of more than 130 years.”

As part of the re-brand, Eastbourne School of English will become The English Language Centre, Eastbourne. Administration, registration and accommodation will continue to be managed locally by the same teams in both centres.

"We will continue to be offering all the benefits of the quality independent schools for which we are recognised,” adds Phil Hopkins.
