Cambridge is famous for its universities and architecture and has been one of the world’s greatest university cities for 800 years so the city of Cambridge is the ideal place to study. With a population of 100,000 residents and 20,000 university students, Cambridge is an exciting place in which to live and study. It is small enough to get around easily on foot or by bicycle, but big enough to have all the commodities you would get in a big city. The location of our school is excellent, just 15 minutes’ walk to the city centre and a 3 minute walk from the main train station.
The examination offered by the International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) leads to an internationally-recognised qualification for entry to universities and colleges throughout the English-speaking world. Our IELTS Examination Course is ideal preparation and has proven to be highly effective. All 168 lessons (6 weeks at 28 lessons per week) concentrate exclusively on the examination. The course is suitable for students aiming for 7.0 or higher. Students will have the opportunity to take the exam at the end of the course.
Studio Cambridge is an authorised Centre for CELA (University of Cambridge English Language Assessment). These are two different courses which prepare students for the FCE and the CAE exams. These qualifications are among the most prestigious and widely recognised in the world. The CAE is accepted for entry to most British Universities. The courses we offer prepare students for the two examinations. Students will have the opportunity to take the exam at the end of the course.
