Impact English College in Melbourne was honoured to welcome Julian Hill MP, Assistant Minister for International Education, on a special visit earlier this week. The visit offered the Minister a firsthand glimpse into the exceptional experiences that international students enjoy at this leading IALC-accredited institution.
During his time at the school, Mr Hill toured the facilities, visited classrooms, engaged with students, and sampled a coffee brewed by Impact’s own Barista students at Café Impresso. His warm interactions and genuine interest were greatly appreciated by both staff and students.
The visit served as a valuable opportunity to deepen the Minister’s understanding of the English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) sector and its vital contribution to Australia’s international education landscape.

Mr Hill shared his thoughts on social media, describing the experience as:
“Terrific to hang out with young people from across the world, spending a few months learning English in Australia.”
The public response echoed his sentiment, with one comment highlighting the spirit of the sector: “We all are multicultural. No one the best. God’s Paradise will be multicultural.”
IALC congratulates Impact English College for this meaningful recognition and for continuing to exemplify excellence in student experience and cultural exchange.
