Selectividad success for Chinese students at Malaca Instituto

Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Two students from China have passed the Selectividad university entrance in Spain after studying for the test at Spanish language school Malaca Instituto in Malaga.

There is a bi-lateral agreement convalidating Selectividad, the Spanish university entrance exam, with its equivalent in China, Gao Kao. For a variety of reasons, not all Chinese students of university calibre take Gao Kao and if they then want to enter university in Spain, they need Selectividad. This is what happened with Yin Miao and Cheng Deng, who are now enrolled respectively in the Complutense in Madrid and the University of Malaga.

Malaca Instituto has been preparing overseas students for the Selectividad (now known as PAU – Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad) examination for many years.

The next Selectividad preparation course at Malaca Instituto starts in January 2013. There are still a few places for students from outside the EU with a B2 level of Spanish, who want to go to university in Spain.
