Learn English in the Cotswolds at new IALC-accredited summer centre - ECI Westonbirt School

IALC-accredited language school, Emerald Cultural Insitute has opened a new summer centre in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.

Students can learn English in Westonbirt House, a magnificent Grade 1 listed building set in 210 acres of parkland which include a lake, amphitheatre, grotto, fountains and a set of Italianate gardens, with three boarding houses on the grounds where students will stay.

Emerald have been offering high-quality English language programmes for over 30 years with their two year-round campuses in Dublin and junior summer centres in Kent, Worth and now the beautiful Cotswolds.

Emerald’s new summer centre offers a Multi-Activity Programme for students aged between 9 and 15 years old. The programme combines a general language course with a full programme of extra-curricular activities such as football, volleyball, touch rugby, cricket, badminton, baseball, rounders, dance, drama, cooking and a variety of arts and crafts.

Students can also choose to learn about British Wildlife and conservation on ECI’s Environment and Conservation programme where they will visit the nearby Arboretum and explore the science of plants, habitats, woodland management, conservation and climate change.

Fun evening activities will enable all the students to come together and enjoy a range of lively events including talent and fashion shows, discos and karaoke, quizzes and scavenger hunt.

The Westonbirt School programme also offers one full day excursion and two half-day excursions per week, including trips to Oxford, Bath and Stonehenge/Salisbury.
