Italian language exams in Bologna with ALCE

From September 2015, IALC-accredited ALCE Italian language school in Bologna becomes a CELI examination centre authorized by University at Perugia, and a CERT.IT examination centre authorized by University Roma Tre.

ALCE is already a official examination centre for CILS and AIL and its DITALS teacher training is recognized by Siena University and Accademia Italiana di Lingua.

CELI and CERT.IT certifications are officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. Both exams are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Learning Teaching, Assessment of the Council of Europe) and the ALTE Framework. The certificates must be issued according to the CLIQ quality system, CLIQ being the Italian acronym for the Italian language certificate of quality. ALCE Bologna has secured an agreement with all three national certifying agencies: Università per stranieri di Perugia, Università per stranieri di Siena and Università Roma Tre.

This means students of Italian can now gain official certification all year round at ALCE. There are standard sessions in March, April, June, July, September, November and December, plus extraordinary AIL sessions every month on demand.

To enrol in a University degree programme in Italian, all non-EU citizens living overseas must have a B2 Italian language level. Students who hold a CILS, CELI or CERT.IT are exempted from taking the language test.
