IALC launches new Approved Agency scheme for study abroad agencies

The International Association of Language Centres (IALC) is delighted to announce the launch of its IALC Approved Agency scheme for 2019, an exciting new agency initiative that will serve as a badge of recognition for study abroad agencies around the world that work actively with IALC schools.

Since 1983, IALC has been a trusted reference point in the language travel sector. IALC is an ST StudyTravel Superstar and has been described by the EL Gazette as, “the closest thing to a global group of Centres of Excellence”.

The new IALC Approved Agency allows IALC to approve quality and reward loyalty and trust with an exclusive network of high-quality international study abroad agencies. It will replace the existing IALC Partner Agent scheme from January 2019.

IALC President Giorgia Biccelli said of the new IALC Approved Agency scheme:

“Our new agency initiative acknowledges the work of all study abroad agencies around the world that partner with IALC schools. It is our belief this new scheme will dramatically increase the level of effective branding for the Association amongst influential international study travel agencies and will be of immediate benefit to small, medium and large agencies, as well as the Association as a whole.”

Vice President for Marketing at IALC, Robin Adams also added:

“With so many schools to choose from, it is important that IALC have a means of recognizing agent loyalty.  We hope that through this scheme, we will not only be able to reward established agents for choosing to send students to our schools, but we also want to encourage new entrepreneurs to give their clients valuable experiences, at the start of their careers.  It is our aim to foster true partnerships through this new initiative.”

Agencies can review the benefits of this new initiative as well as apply to become an IALC Approved Agency at www.ialc.org/agents/.
