LSI / IH Portsmouth has been approved as a Cambridge English Exam centre as well as a CELTA teacher training centre – some glimpses of light in the current difficult climate for our industry.
LSI / IH Portsmouth have been offering intensive exam preparation courses for many years but are able to now offer students the convenience of taking the test actually in the school. The first tests will take place in December 2020.
The first full-time CELTA course will take place in January 2021, and the first part-time in April 2021. The Course Director will be Lewis Richards.

We are hoping to have guest tutors over the year and one of them will be Peter Watkins, co-author (with Scott Thornbury) of The CELTA Course, the definitive manual for delivering the course.
