Quality Language Schools Worldwide

For French students wanting to learn German in Germany, travelling to Stuttgart just got easier with the opening of a high-speed rail link from Paris on June 10, 2007, says Christine Heber of the Anglo-German Institute in Stuttgart. The first French trans-rapid TGV train to arrive from Paris was given a warm welcome by Stuttgart's citizens, who marked the occasion with a weekend of celebrations, including an open-air concert on the Schlossplatz. Travelling by TGV is an excellent, eco-friendly alternative to flying - the trip only takes three hours and forty minutes at a top speed of 320 km/h. There are currently three daily connections, with a fourth planned from December 2007. The new TGV service is part of a larger project that aims to link eastern and western Europe, and is now the best way for French language students to get to Stuttgart to study German at the Anglo-German Institute.
