Galway Business School (GBS) has launched a new online newsletter about business education in Galway. Gee-Biz will be a regular publication featuring news and developments from GBS and the local area. Its DNL format provides easy access, pages that turn as they are read, flash movies, streaming video and full interactive menus for simple navigation.

The first issue features articles on the new Honours Degree in Business Administration validated by the Federal University of Wales and the GBS BTEC (Business & Technology Education Council) courses. Each Gee-Biz issue will carry interviews with members of staff and students and a student profile to illustrate the changing face of education in Ireland. Issue 1 profiles a Japanese student who spent six months studying for a Professional Diploma in European Business at GBS and has an interview with Mary McKeon, Chief Operating Officer of the Monogram Hotel Group. Readers are encouraged to contribute articles, opinions and letters.

A few places are still available on the ICM Certificate in Marketing course at GBS and additional course dates have been added to the combination courses for 2006.
