IALC & TIECA Sign Memorandum of Understanding

The International Association of Language Centres (IALC) is pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between IALC and the Thai International Education Consultants Association TIECA.

TIECA currently has 78 members actively working in the education Industry in Thailand. In a similar way to IALC.  TIECA’s main objectives are to share expertise in the field of international education and help raise standards of practice and services rendered to students. In this sense, IALC and TIECA are a perfect match.

IALC President and Principal of CES Toronto, Robin Adams said of the partnership, “As IALC continues to expand strategic partnerships in Asian markets, we are particularly pleased to work with the TIECA association.  We feel this partnership will foster opportunities for our member schools seeking to forge meaningful agreements with prestigious agencies in Thailand.  In the wake of the pandemic, the Thai market has increased significance for Australian schools and we will work closely with our colleagues at TIECA to explore roadshows and other events to try and build on the opportunities for a wide variety of IALC destinations.”

TIECA President and MD of GENT Edutainment Seth Rutrakool said “TIECA has the mission to be the media to help the institutions to understand about Thai markets and also to promote the institutions to our TIECA members to work with the accredited institutions. Collaborating with IALC will fully support this mission and we hope that IALC and TIECA will work closely together in the future.”

IALC is very much looking forward to collaborating with members of TIECA in the near future.
