Managing editor Melanie Butler cross-references IALC membership with other UK quality measures (ISI and British Council) in the April 2013 edition of ELgazette and finds positive results.
Her research shows that "half of the top 2 per cent of schools belong to IALC, and member schools are four times more likely to be Centres of Excellence than the average English UK member". It also showed that "87 per cent of member schools exceeded expectations compared to just over 80 per cent of British-Council-accredited schools altogether."
