Taronja Spanish School continues language exchange in Valencia

7 December 2012

Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Taronja Spanish School in Valencia is continuing its popular weekly language exchange, in which Spanish language students and local people come together for a sociable, multilingual exchange.

The exchange attracts up to 100 people every Monday. There are groups for Spanish, French, Italian, German, English, etc. So Taronja students can practise the Spanish they learn in class and also help Spaniards speak the students’ language. The school comes up with a weekly topic and participants simply chat and practise their language skills in a very enjoyable way.

The event is free and takes place in a cosy book-café in one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods. It has already become the best-known linguistic exchange in Valencia, with more than 2000 members on its facebook group. The language exchange is included in the Spanish school’s social programme but is a city event in itself: all Spanish people and foreigners who are interested in languages are invited.
