In February, Langports launched a video competition for students studying at both the Gold Coast and Brisbane campuses. Participants had to create a video showcasing their Langports experience and share it on Facebook to obtain the most amount of likes from their friends. This campaign was embraced by student and staff and in only one month, more than 1 000 people voted for 14 videos. Each video was unique and allowed students to present different aspects of their lives at Langports and in Australia.
Two prizes were awarded: one for the most amount of likes on Facebook and one for the highest quality video.
Brisbane students Diana and Paula from Colombia won the prizes.
The videos are available on the Langports YouTube channel for viewing and sharing.
