English in Chester has won an award for the accessibility of its language school website. Nick Day, the school's website developer, took first place in the commercial category of the national Accessibility in Focus awards, which are sponsored by some of the biggest names in the UK web industry.
The awards recognise websites that have been developed to be accessible and usable by a broad range of people with different abilities. The judge praised the ease of information access, range of accessibility techniques used and thought the English in Chester website was a "pleasure to browse".
