Phoenix Announces English for Aviators Course

6 June 2010

Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Phoenix English Academy has introduced an English for Aviators course specifically designed for pilots and air traffic controllers. With the introduction of new ICAO English Language Proficiency Requirements, pilots and air traffic controllers need to improve their ability to communicate on work-related matters in English.

This course is designed for non-native speakers of English who need to achieve competency in English at an Operational Level 4. It is offered over 8 weeks for existing pilots and air traffic controllers. There is a more extended course of 12 weeks targeted at clients who have not yet graduated with their licenses. Qualified pilots and air traffic controllers who are fully trained ESL instructors deliver the course in a face-to-face environment that is supplemented with simulations, online practice and visits to airports and air traffic control facilities.
