The ELFE French language school in Paris, which specialises in general and executive French courses in small groups for adults, has some new staff. Sophie Yar (pictured) joined ELFE in June as the new English-speaking administrative assistant. Sophie is French and has spent 14 years in England. She worked recently for a private English college for international students. Anne Serrat, the wife of school owner Jérôme Serrat, is in overall charge of administration, with special responsibility for host families, while Clarinda Paixao is on maternity leave. Clarinda is due to return to the school in November.
