All of our IALC schools in Malta are excited to offer students travelling to Malta to learn English this summer up to €300 in vouchers to spend anywhere on the island!
The Malta Tourism Authority has launched a new €1M scheme to support students who are going to Malta to learn English whilst simultaneously helping schools to get back on their feet after recent pandemic-related closures.
“As Chairperson of FELTOM, I am very pleased to confirm that following talks with the Minister of Tourism - Hon. Bartolo, the Malta Tourism Authority, has last week launched a new scheme, to incentivise ELT students to choose The Maltese Islands as their destination of choice for English studies. By means of this scheme, students (aged 13years+) can benefit from a €10 per night voucher. To benefit from the scheme, a student needs to spend a minimum of 15 nights on the islands and show proof of a recently booked airline ticket. The maximum number of redeemable voucher nights are 30. Vouchers can be spent by the students in schools, in shops or F&B outlets.”
Rebecca Bonnici, Chairperson of FELTOM.
Each student going to Malta to learn English will be given a €10 voucher for every day that is spent on the island. To qualify for this scheme, students must stay a minimum of 15 nights in Malta, capped at a maximum of 30 nights, or €300, between 1st June 2021 and 31st December 2021.
The vouchers will be redeemable from all the participating outlets in Malta & Gozo (retail and services, restaurants) accepting government vouchers. They cannot be exchanged for cash and each voucher of €10 needs to be redeemed at one go.
This is a first come first served basis, which means students must act fast to benefit from this scheme.
