Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Two new English language courses at The Hampstead School of English in London combine English language study with practical work experience in a UK company. “Ready for Work” is a half-year programme of English with a paid internship, while “Work Experience and Internships” combines an intensive English language course with unpaid work experience. The Ready for Work programme includes 28 weeks’ accommodation, a 4-week intensive English course and 24 weeks’ paid work in the UK, with a guaranteed salary of £500.00 minimum per month. It is open to EU citizens and students who have permission to work in the UK.

Most work placements are in the hotel & catering field, but can be in any service industry. The Work Experience and Internships Programme combines a 12-week intensive English course with an unpaid internship in a field chosen by the student. Current students are working in marketing, accountancy, retail management and medicine. The programme is open to all students aged 20+. The Hampstead School of English provides help and advice on visa requirements.
