Learn Italian in Bologna language school ALCE Announcement

An announcement from IALC-accredited Italian language school ALCE Accademia Lingue e Culture Europee in Bologna:

Firstly, we would like to say a big thank you for your support over the past few weeks. It has been so important for us.

Then we would like to give you a short update on some very good news from Italy, Emilia Romagna Region and Bologna.

As of Monday 18 May, Italians have been able to do much of what they hold sacred: visit shops, hairdressers, bars and restaurants are allowed to reopen after a 10-week lockdown!

All is slowly becoming right with the world.

Unlimited travel is now permitted within individual regions, and friends can meet in restaurants, so long as tables are two metres apart.

While we are all keeping well and doing our best to continue teaching our students online, finally, we are working to re-open the school for face-to-face classes in line with government recommendations.

Today the Regional council has just outlined their final rules:

Officially we can re-open the campus from Monday 25May in Bologna.

ALCEhas decided to follow a stricter health and safety measures in order to reduce the risk to students and teachers and we will recommence face to face classes on Monday 1 June.

We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome again our students!

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. A BIG VIRTUAL HUG from Bologna
