You can now take English language classes online with IALC-accredited language school, Heartland and enjoy fun online social activities, including a virtual Easter egg hunt around the school on Good Friday!
All courses have now moved online so students can improve on their English language skills with the help of the experienced and passionate teachers at Heartland, who will be able to support and encourage you in a real-life classroom setting through the online platform Zoom.
From beginner to advanced levels, Heartland offers ESL programs to suit your learning needs.
Heartland has also found new ways of connecting online where students can still come together and enjoy unique cultural experiences. Last week, Heartland put on a live show via Zoom with violist Marie-Elyse Badeau, a member of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra!
Over 70 students and staff “joined” Badeau in her living room to take in a range of beautiful pieces including: Bach, Puccini and Chekovsky’s Swan Lake. Students could also interact with a Q&A session at the end. Read more here.
The school also has planned a virtual Easter egg hunt tomorrow and an online performance next Friday by a couple from a local taiko drum group.
Gary Gervais, President of Heartland International English School said:
“This Friday is Good Friday and the school is closed, but we traditionally have our Easter egg hunt around the school. We’ve created a virtual Easter egg hunt and I will deliver a basket of chocolate to 2 of the winners this Sunday (from a physically safe distance, of course).
“We’re doing our best to serve our student, staff, and wider community through all of this.”
