Substantial upgrades to the facilities of its Spanish language schools in Buenos Aires and Santiago have been announced by Latin Immersion.
Boosted by increasing student enrolments, Latin Immersion has embarked on a general facilities upgrade at both centres. In Argentina, the Spanish school has moved to a larger building in Buenos Aires, with more than 10 classrooms, air conditioning and an outdoor patio for breaks. The patio has
proved particularly popular with students in a city where most language schools are located in apartments.
Across the Andes in Chile, Latin Immersion has torn down walls, poured concrete and revitalized the garden of its Santiago school to create a sunny break room and large adjoining patio (pictured), ideal for Friday afternoon asados. Improvements planned for 2005 in Santiago include up to six more classrooms and upgrading the student computer infrastructure.
